Setting up Fedora Core 1. Installing Fedora Core 1 is just the begining, there are many things still to be done.

To do:

• First you need get a new yum.conf from http://fedora.artoo.net/faq/#InstallSoftware
• Replace /etc/yum.conf with the new yum.conf
• Run 'yum update' as root
• Checkout http://fedoranews.org and http://fedoranews.org/colin/fnu/ for info needed to install java, mplayer, etc.

John Dumic bought his hard drive with RH 9 installed and used it (with some effort) to boot into one of our cclug P Cs? and show us the latest Celestia software.
