Our meeting was busy from 10 til 3. Several Austin visitors added much to our meeting.

We were able set our wireless router on the network. We now have access to a high speed network.

Installed Redhat 9 on a Toshiba satellite notebook. Ron updated his Redhat 9 to Fedora. The network allowed us to update two fresh Redhat9 installs using apt-get. Downloaded and installed several hundred megabytes of updates in just a few minutes.

Carlos has set our ibm PC up as a server and will bring a 30gb 2nd drive for it to our next meeting. The plans are to keep it loaded with current software for users to network to their computers.

Burned and distributed a few sets of RH 9 and Fedora.
